I am a full-time Internet Marketer who has been online since 1997.

Before going full time online I created a very successful business in the personal development and health industry which I started and grew to massive success over a ten year period before which which I ran a $14 million business for Whitbread in the food industry.

My Early Online Career

I cut my teeth on local internet marketing, learning to build websites for my own business but then moved onto the internet full time learning about internet marketing and how to make money online.

The best thing about internet marketing is I can spend time with my family and work from anywhere so it is the internet lifestyle which I like so much.

For me, internet marketing is a way to create income for the lifestyle I want and I have achieved alot of what I have wanted in terms of freedom and finance. As someone who sees the value of increasing family time, i am keen to help others who also want to create a better life for themselves, and creating income is KEY to that lifestyle.

Working Smart

I have found, over the years, the key to success is really in your mindset rather than your ability to click buttons on a computer: you can do that all day long and create nothing or you can work smart and focus on what your goals are.

In short the key to success starts with the right understanding of what you are trying to achieve, understanding the right strategies and have the motivation and commitment to see the project through to success.

Why People Fail

I realised a while ago it was the freedom internet marketing offered which I wanted and of itself, internet marketing is pretty boring and very complicated. Most people come to internet marketing, expecting to make money, but are not trained marketers….which is why they sadly fail. Most people who try to make money online may have never run a business before either… and no, this is not their fault, but it is no wonder they fail.

What Do You Want?

For me the key is to find business models which work to fit your desired lifestyle…for example Google Adsense does NOT fit my lifestyle in one sense..you cannot make any money with it without alot of sites (and I find building sites boring) so I do not even consider that option for me but as an advertiser Google adwords gives the chance to drive traffic to my squeeze page and build a list quickly: so I love it for that.

So straight away, I would like to ask you these questions:

What lifestyle do you want from the internet?

What kind of income do you want to achieve?

How do you want to earn the money?

Do you want to create one site or many?

If you know the answers to these questions you can find a business model to fit you…and that is half the challenge..planning your business is ESSENTIAL!

I sat down the other day and made a list that I will share here.  This list is not about how the information is delivered or what buttons to click but what I wanted my business to be, so here it is.

The list above really describes what I would like a business to be for myself if I were learning how to make money online and also describes what I see lacking in our community today.

The Private Me

As for my personal life, I live in UK with my partner Ally and our 5 children. I work from home (although I am in Wales when writing this).

I have had many successes as you will see in the online event I present but I have also struggled and failed along with the rest.

From an early age I struggled with many issues, where they came from I do not know but created a terrible depression in my late twenties that nearly saw the end of me but as I am writing this today I can say that I have over-come whatever that challenge and have been happy for more years than not.

I am telling you this because I want you to know that you CAN achieve your goals with effort. My own story is one of struggle, I can tell you, you are unlikely to have had more challenges than me, and yet I have over come and achieved more than I could ever imagine and have helped thousands and thousands do the same in their life and their business.

What I am saying is that if I can do it, so can you..
