The key is to present your business and yourself as YOU want it to be presented,do not let the market place decide who you are..it is also better to be disliked that boring so making a fuss and being opinionated is better.
I personally know,and my experience tells me that most online marketing companies local businesses off and are worse than useless. That is not to say all are, but most are: this does not go down well with alot of those people but it tells my prospects what I know to be true.
